What is Atlanta Field Day?
Atlanta Field Day is a morning of friendly competition. There are 14 races...The Sack RaceThe Three Legged RaceThe Relay Race, and 11 others. Teams and Individuals compete to win points to receive prizes!

Who is Atlanta Field Day, Inc?
Atlanta Field Day was started by Davis Kirby and the corporation is organized as a 501c3. This is Field Day's second year, and we are very excited and hope it will be as fun as it is successful! In 2010, AFD raised just over $13,000.00 for CHRIS Kids and in 2011, AFD raised over $72,000.00!.

Who can compete?
Anyone over the age of 18 who is on a Team, and has signed a waiver of liability can compete. Children can compete, as well, as long as they are accompanied by a parent. For more information on Teams, see the questions we have below or follow the link. The waiver of liability is part of the sign in process with FirstGiving and will be a part of the registration on the Day of the Show.

Are children allowed to play?
Children are allowed at the Event and can compete... however, there may be some adult-themed entertainment... nothing too raunchy, as we are at a church and it is in the morning. If we have enough kids, we may have some children's only races, too!

How do I participate?
Your first step is to set up a Team or to join an existing team. Read the information on that page and it will walk you through how to . 100% of donations will go directly to CHRIS Kids and are completely tax deductible to you. Then get friends to join your team. Your team needs to raise $500.00 by the day of the Event to compete. Any additional monies raised give you extra race entries.

How do I start a Team?
It is very simple. Just visit the Start a Team page. There are downloadable instructions, as well, for the registration process...it's very simple!

Yes... There is the Egg TossThe Sack RaceThe Balloon RaceThe Hula Hoop, and a few suprises! Remember: this is a day of fun to raise money for a great organization. We hope we have designed races and games for all skill levels.
