START A TEAM

TEAM REGISTRATION OPENS JULY 15th.

About your Team:

Your Team needs to raise $800.00 to compete in all the events for Atlanta Field Day 2011.  You do not have to have the $800.00 now.... just by Saturday, September 15, 2012.  You can start a team with $0.00 and then start your donation drive... Each Team will get their own Team page on the firstgiving.com website so you can forward to friends, family, co-workers, and corporations to generate donations and track your progress!  

Each team consists of at least 8 people. The Tug-O-War, the Bouquet Relay, the Drunken Sailor all use 8 people.  There are three different types of Events:

After your Team raises $800.00, it will have 1 (one) entry in every Event.  For every additional $400 your team raises, you get an additional entry in either the Individual Event (ex: Sack Race) or Paired Events (ex: Three Legged Race).  If you want to put all entries in the Sack Race, you can - management of your entries is up to you and your coach.  You will not be able to get additional entries in the Team Events.   

We encourage Teams to make hats, set up tents and make banners to cheer each other on from the sidelines.
